AWS CloudFormation Step by Step: Beginner to Intermediate
This course is my beginner-level course on AWS CloudFormation. You will learn how to manage your AWS infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and deploy it automatically. At the end of it, you will be able to create stacks from existing templates as well as write your own templates with YAML.
We cover each template section in detail in this course. You will learn how to increase the reusability of your templates by defining parameters, mappings, and conditions. You will be able to enhance them more with outputs and metadata.
This course will take you to an intermediate-level on AWS, and it will be a basis for its Intermediate to Advanced version that I am currently shooting.

In the works: AWS CloudFormation Step by Step: Intermediate to Advanced
This course is not ready yet. But I am currently preparing content, producing lectures for it, and hope to finish it soon. Hence, I would also like to share some details about it with you.
It will be the continuation of my AWS CloudFormation Step by Step: Beginner to Intermediate course. Therefore, it will assume that you know the basics of AWS CloudFormation and aim to get more proficient at it. We will not talk about how to create a stack or write a template as a beginner.
Instead, we will cover more intermediate to advanced-level CloudFormation topics in detail like cross-stack references, nested stacks, using EC2 UserData property tp configure EC2 instances, CloudFormation helper scripts (cfn-signal, cfn-init, cfn-hup), stack policies, drifts, etc.
Therefore, if you joined my beginner-level course, don’t worry! I will not leave you there. I divided the CloudFormation subject into two courses to provide a better learning experience to my students by devoting more time and detail to topics as well as adjusting the learning level for each course better.
